As someone with a background in primary education but new to teaching English, I found this course extremely valuable. I completed the TEFL course in August 2024, and it was an intense but rewarding experience. The trainer, Cillian, is outstanding. He not only delivered the syllabus clearly but also offered insightful feedback and shared a wealth of personal teaching experience. His real-life examples, especially around managing challenging student behaviour, were invaluable.
At first, I was a bit surprised that the school-based teaching practice came so early in the course. However, I soon realised it was a brilliant approach. Practicing early allowed us to reflect on real situations and discuss them in the following lessons, making the learning much more meaningful.
