TEFL Courseby GoTEFL Thailand

Founded in 2010, UniTraining initially launched its UniTEFL division, which quickly gained a strong reputation for developing high-quality English teachers. Over the years, UniTEFL has become well recognised within the global TEFL community and is particularly respected across Thailand, especially in the northern regions.
In 2014, GoTEFL was introduced through a collaboration between UniTraining International Ltd. and MediaKids Academy. The goal was to create a more accessible and affordable entry point into TEFL. With MediaKids Academy subsidising part of the programme cost and offering guaranteed job placement upon completion, the initiative made it easier for aspiring teachers to get started.
GoTEFL’s Training and Placement (TAP) Programme is designed to support a smooth transition into teaching abroad, with minimal upfront expense. Participants can spend a full semester in Thailand with a pre-arranged teaching position and comprehensive support from the moment they enrol. The programme includes a globally recognised 120-hour in-class TEFL certification, providing a solid foundation for a career in English language teaching overseas.
The course is structured to equip trainees with both the knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed. This includes teaching practice in real Thai classrooms, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience before stepping into their own roles. Cultural awareness training is also a key component, helping teachers adapt to working in Thailand.
Intakes for the TAP Programme typically begin around one month before the teaching placement starts and include accommodation, visa assistance, organised excursions, and ongoing support from programme consultants.
